Supper Medley(A Delicious Skillet Dinner) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground round steak
2 medium onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 small can mushrooms (optional)
8 oz. noodles
1/4 lb. American cheese, grated
3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes (No. 2 1/2 can)
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
Preparation

Melt the shortening in a large skillet (which has a tight fitting cover).
Add the meat and brown it.
Add the chopped onions and green pepper and mix the meat.
Add the mushrooms. Arrange the dry noodles over the top of the meat and vegetables. Sprinkle the grated cheese over all and add the tomatoes and seasonings.
Cover.
Place over high flame.
When steaming, turn to simmer flame and cook for 1 hour.
Yield: 6 servings.
