Easy Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slightly beaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
1 (9-inch) deep dish pastry shell
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation

Blend eggs, sugar, salt, nutmeg and vanilla.
Gradually stir in scalded milk.
Pour into pastry shell.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until knife inserted between center and edges comes out clean.
Cook on rack and chill.
