Corn-Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can creamed corn
    1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
    3/4 c. yellow corn meal
    3/4 c. American or Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    salt and pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
    Remove cover during last 15 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
