Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    3 egg yolks
    2 tsp. coconut flavor
Preparation
    Blend sugar, flour, salt and cold milk.
    Add scalded milk while stirring.
    Stir constantly.
    Cook on low heat until thick. Add beaten egg yolks, then cook 2 minutes longer.
    Remove from stove; add coconut flavor.
    Cover top with meringue made of 3 egg whites, stiffly beaten.
    Add 6 tablespoons sugar.
    Brown in oven.
