Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. plain flour*
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 c. salad oil or melted margarine
2 apples, diced
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Preparation

*If using self-rising flour, omit baking powder, salt and soda.
