Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 (16 oz.) sour cream
5 to 6 c. flour
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars together.
Add eggs, vanilla, salt, soda and baking powder and blend.
Alternate sour cream and flour until all has been added; blend well.
Refrigerate overnight.
