Southern Style Chicken Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3-3 1/2 lb. cooked chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. flour
    3 tbs. oil
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 can chicken broth
    1 8 oz. can tomatoes, drained, chopped
    2 carrots, sliced
    2 med. apples, peeled, cored, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 lb. green beans, 2 inch pieces, 1 1/2 c.
    1 8 oz. can whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Dredge chicken in flour.
    Cook a few pieces at a time in large, heavy skillet.
    Remove pieces as they brown.
    To drippings, add onions and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
    Blend in curry powder and cook 1 minute longer.
    Return chicken to pot and add broth, tomatoes, carrots, apples, salt and pepper.
    Over high heat, heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20-25 minutes, until fork tender.
    Skim off fat.
    Add green beans and cook 10 minutes linger.
    Add corn and heat through.
    Serves 4-6.
