Quiche Lorraine(Egg, Bacon And Cheese Pie) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Shell
    12 slices of bacon (about 1/2 lb), crisply fried and crumbled
    1 cup shredded natural swiss cheese (about 4 ounces)
    1/2 cup minced onion
    4 eggs
    2 cups Carnation evaporated milk
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp sugar
    1/8 tsp ground cayenne red pepper (powder)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425 degrees.
    Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell.
    Beat eggs slightly, beat in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into pie pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
    Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
    Makes 6 meal size servings or 8 appetizer size servings.
    Left overs can be reheated in microwave.
