Mississippi Mud - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 sticks margarine
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. marshmallows
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar together.
    Melt butter and cocoa.
    Add well beaten eggs and sifted flour and sugar, salt and nuts.
    (Will be stiff.)
    Pour into greased and floured pan (13 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 1 3/4-inches deep).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, depending on oven.
    May add 1 cup chopped nuts to icing.
    While hot, spread enough small marshmallows to cover top very well. Pour hot icing over top.
    Let cool before serving.
