Black Forest Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1 (2 lb.) can cherry pie filling
oil
eggs
Cool Whip
maraschino cherries
chocolate scrapings or drizzle

Preparation

Make cake according to directions on box, stirring in cherry pie filling.
Divide into 2 or 3 well-greased round layer cake pans.
Bake as directed.
Check for doneness.
Let cake cool.
