Doughnut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. grated coconut
Preparation

Mix sugar, milk, eggs and shortening.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder; add nutmeg.
Combine the 2 mixtures and add the coconut.
Drop by teaspoon into deep hot fat.
Fry until brown. When cool, roll in powdered sugar (optional).
Bake at 375\u00b0.
