Robin'S Yum-Yum Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 envelopes gelatin
    1 c. water
    juice of lemon
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Put gelatin soaking in water.
    Cook sugar, lemon juice and pineapple to boil, then add gelatin and bring to another boil. Cool. Combine Cool Whip to mixture in a large bowl and add grated cheese.
    Place mixture in flat 1-quart casserole dish. Refrigerate overnight.
    Serves 6 to 8.
