My Favorite Egyptian Yellow Chicken With Almonds - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 pieces chicken
salt to taste
ground black pepper
4 cloves pressed garlic
1 tsp. turmeric or saffron
1/2 c. olive oil or melted butter
1 Tbsp. finely chopped parsley
1 1/4 c. boiling water or chicken stock
1/2 c. whole almonds, blanched
5 hard-boiled eggs, shelled and quartered
Preparation

Rinse chicken and pat dry.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat 3/4 of the oil in a pan and lightly saute the garlic and almonds.
Add turmeric, stir into the hot oil and garlic.
Add chicken and brown on both sides.
Sprinkle in the parsley and pour in the water or stock.
