Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (22 oz.) can Louisiana yams, drained, or 2 large cooked, peeled, mashed yams
    3/4 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. coconut
    2 unbaked 9-inch pie shells
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Mash sweet potatoes with butter.
    Add sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and eggs and stir well.
    Stir in milk, nutmeg and flavorings.
    Beat at high speed on electric mixer for three minutes.
    Add coconut.
    Pour into two 9-inch pie shells and bake one hour or one hour and fifteen minutes, until set.
