Cocoa-Cola Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 can Bing pitted cherries (or dark pitted)
2 c. nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
12 oz. chilled Coca-Cola
Preparation

Drain pineapple and cherries thoroughly.
Combine juices and bring to boiling.
Dissolve jello in juice and cool to the consistency of egg whites.
Place cherries, pineapple and nuts in layers in 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish.
Crumble cream cheese over top. Add coke to jello and mix well.
Pour over fruit and lift with fork gently so jello covers bottom of dish.
Chill until set.
