Brer Rabbit Blackberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. blackberries, sweetened with 2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1/3 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Toss slightly sweetened berries with 1 tablespoon flour to coat.
    Place berries in a lightly greased deep baking dish.
    In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, salt, butter and milk; blend well.
    Pat dough out into thin strips and arrange as crust over berries.
    In a saucepan, combine sugar and water; bring to a boil and boil until sugar dissolves.
    Pour over crust.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
