Sausage Strata - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can Cheddar cheese soup*
3/4 c. milk
4 slices bread or leftover buns
1 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar)
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. sausage
Preparation

Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
Brown sausage; drain well.
Brown onions.
Warm up soup.
Combine with milk and eggs.
Tear bread in small chunks to cover pan well.
Alternate with bread, cheese and sausage.
Pour combined liquid over.
Can be made ahead.
Great for brunch.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven 45 minutes.
Check doneness with toothpick.
