Hummingbird Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. chopped bananas
1/2 c. pecans (for the frosting)
Preparation

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened.
Do not beat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1 cup pecans and bananas.
Do not beat.
Spoon batter into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes.
Remove from pans and cool completely. Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
