Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. warm water
5 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

In a large bowl, put yeast, sugar and water.
Let stand for 10 minutes.
Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Heat buttermilk to lukewarm.
Add flour mixture to yeast mixture, then add oil and buttermilk.
Stir together until dough forms.
Turn dough out on floured board.
Knead 10 times.
Gather into a ball and put in greased bowl, turning over to grease top. Cover with cloth.
Let rise until double in size.
Punch down dough.
Place on floured board.
Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter.
Place in greased pan.
Let rise 30 to 45 minutes.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
