1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine sugar, brown sugar, cream cheese, and butter. Mix well.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add extract and mix. Add flour to batter alternately with the milk. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13x2 inch baking pan.
In small bowl, combine preserves, cinnamon, and ginger. Mix well. Drop the pineapple mixture from a teaspoon onto batter. Sprinkle pecans over top of batter. Using a knife cut through the batter several times for marbled effect. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of coffeecake. Drizzle glaze over top.
