Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. jello
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. frozen strawberries
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 bananas, chopped or sliced
    1 c. chopped pecans
    2 (1/2 pt.) sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in water; add frozen strawberries and stir until thawed.
    Add pineapple and bananas.
    Pour 1/2 of mixture in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Spread 2 cartons sour cream over this.
    Pour on remaining jello and chill until firm.
