Cheese Soup Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. finely minced onion
    1/3 c. finely minced celery
    1/3 c. finely minced carrots
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. half and half
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of potato soup
    1/2 c. chopped broccoli (fresh or frozen)
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Melt the butter in a soup pot.
    Saute the onions, celery, and carrots.
    Combine the chicken broth with half and half.
    Stir the flour into the vegetables, mixing well.
    Add the liquid and stir. Add the potato soup and broccoli.
    Mix until smooth.
    Gradually add small chunks of cheese, stirring continuously until cheese melts.
    Keep warm until ready to serve.
