Plain Pastry Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 to 3 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Sift flour and salt together.
Cut in shortening and water until mealy.
Roll out 1/8-inch thick.
Lay loosely in pie pan and press to sides.
Build up on edges.
Prick all over and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
