Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pie shell
3 eggs
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/3 stick butter or margarine
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat eggs somewhat, not extensively.
Add sugar and Karo. Heat liquid in double boiler until ingredients are well-blended (hot, but not very hot).
Add butter or margarine and remove from heat.
Allow liquid to cool.
Add vanilla.
Pour chopped nuts in pie shell and add cooled liquid filling.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour.
