Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 large eggs
1 lb. grated cheese
1 c. butter
2 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. vanilla
pie crust (in a 9 x 13 pan)
Preparation

Sift together the sugar, flour and salt.
Set aside.
Cook in double boiler the cheese, butter and milk.
Add eggs when cool enough so not to set the eggs.
Add vanilla.
Pour into pie crust and cook 1 hour at 325\u00b0 or until done with toothpick test.
