Bacon Roll-Ups - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. herb seasoned stuffing
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 lb. hot pork sausage
2/3 lb. sliced bacon
Preparation

Melt butter in water.
Remove from heat; stir in stuffing, then egg and sausage.
Blend thoroughly.
Chill for 1 hour. Shape into small balls.
Cut bacon strips into thirds, crosswise. Wrap bacon around dressing mixture and fasten with toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until brown and crisp.
Drain on paper towel and serve hot.
May be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
Yields 36 appetizers.
