Chicken With Peas And Bacon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. cut up chicken
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 oz. lean bacon, diced
    2 lb. sweet peas (fresh, frozen or canned)
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 large onion, diced thin
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 large green peppers, diced
    1 sprig parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Salt and pepper the chicken; brown in the olive oil and remove it from pan.
    Combine peppers, onion, bacon, parsley and garlic and saute in the oil and juice in the browning pan.
    Add the chicken; cover and cook over slow heat for 30 minutes or until chicken is done.
    Add peas and cook 5 minutes more.
    If using fresh or frozen peas, precook partially.
