Smothered Cabbage Wedges - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage
    1/4 c. chopped red pepper
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. chili sauce
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    4 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into 8 wedges.
    Cooked in small amount boiling salted water about 10 minutes, drain.
    Saute vegetables in butter. Combine flour, salt, and pepper.
    Stir into sauteed vegetables. Stir in milk.
    Stir until bubbly and thick.
    Arrange cabbage in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Pour vegetable sauce over cabbage.
    Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Combine mayonnaise, cheese and chili sauce.
    Spoon over cabbage.
    Bake 5 more minutes.
