Microwave Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c onion, chopped
1/4 c celery, chopped
1/4 green pepper, chopped
1 T butter or margarine
1/2 c hot water
1-4 1/2 oz jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1/3 c uncooked instant rice
1 1/2 t chicken bouillon granules
Preparation

Combine onion, celery, green pepper and butter in a 1 quart microwave-safe dish.
Microwave, uncovered, on high for 3-5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp tender.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Cook on high for 12-14 minutes or until rice is tender.
Serves 2.
