Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. white sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 Tbsp. ground cloves
    1 Tbsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. allspice
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. cultured buttermilk or sour milk
    2 c. jam
    1/2 c. broken nuts or raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Mix ingredients one at a time.
    Beat well after each ingredient.
    Do not preheat oven.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 35 to 40 minutes.
    Makes large cake.
