Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa (more for darker chocolate)
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and add to scalded milk.
Add beaten egg yolks.
Cook over low heat until thick.
Add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Cover with egg white meringue and brown in 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes or until browned evenly.
