Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large potatoes, diced
    2 large carrots, diced
    2 stalks celery, diced
    1 can mushrooms (4 oz.)
    1 can baby clams (10 oz.)
    1 large onion, diced
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, onions, carrots, and celery for 2 hours.
    Mix flour to make thick with milk.
    Add to potatoes and other ingredients.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Stir often.
    Add clams last and simmer a short while before eating.
    Sprinkle with chives if desired.
