Sausage Mostaccioli Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 oz. mostaccioli (3 1/2 c.)
1 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 oz. shredded American cheese (1 1/2 c.)
Preparation

Cook pasta according to package directions.
Drain.
In skillet, cook sausage, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, water, oregano and pepper into mixture in skillet.
Stir in cooked pasta.
Spoon half of the mostaccioli mix into a 3-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with half the cheese.
Top with remaining mostaccioli mix.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake about 5 minutes more or until the cheese melts.
Makes 8 servings.
