Blackberry Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. blackberries, fresh or frozen
    2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    sweet biscuit dough, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Combine berries, sugar and water in a 3 quart saucepan.
    Bring to boil without stirring; add dough.
    After a few minutes, reduce heat to simmer.
    Cook, covered, for 15 minutes.
    Serve plain with butter, milk, Cool Whip or ice cream.
