Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) can corn
    2/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. green onion
    vegetable oil (for frying)
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Beat egg whites.
    Beat egg yolks with milk.
    Stir in butter, corn and onion.
    Fold in flour mixture; fold in beaten whites.
    Pour oil into deep skillet.
    Heat and spoon fry mixture until brown.
    Serve with honey or syrup.
