Oatmeal Carmelitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal (uncooked)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine, melted
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 (10 oz.) jar caramel ice cream sauce
Preparation
    Bottom Layer:
    Combine the first 5 ingredients; add melted margarine and stir with a fork.
    Press mixture into a 10 x 15 x 1-inch jelly roll pan (cookie sheet).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
