Mock Enchiladas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. melted shortening
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can Ranch Style beans or chili with beans
1 to 1 1/2 oz. pkg. Fritos
1 1/4 c. American cheese, diced
chili powder to taste
Preparation
-
Brown meat in hot fat.
Add onion; cook until golden.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add beans or chili.
Place layer of Fritos in greased, 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Alternate layers of chili mixture, Fritos and cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 10 minutes.
