Creole Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small or 1 large head cabbage, sliced thin
    1 large bell pepper, sliced thin
    1 large red onion, sliced thin
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Bring last 6 ingredients to a boil.
    Layer vegetables in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle sugar over vegetables.
    Pour the boiled ingredients over vegetables.
    Cover bowl and chill at least 3 hours before serving.
