Apricot Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot Jell-O
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and Jell-O together in a saucepan and bring to a full boil.
    Cool.
    Add buttermilk to mixture and refrigerate until it begins to set.
    Stir in Cool Whip.
    Chill.
    Serve with a topping of equal parts or sour cream and mayonnaise.
