Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) crumb crust, baked
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    3 c. whipped topping
    red food coloring
    2 c. strawberry halves
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
    Cool until slightly thickened.
    Measure 1/2 cup gelatin and blend into whipped topping.
    Tint with small amount of food coloring.
    Chill until stiff enough to mound.
    Spread over bottom and sides of crust. Spread strawberry halves on top of topping.
    Gently spoon remainder of gelatin on top.
    Decorate with a few strawberry halves. Chill until gelatin is firm.
