Ingredients
    3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 lb. small shrimp, peeled and deveined
    3 Tbsp. butter or bacon grease
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 recipe basic grits
