Ingredients

1 c. sweet butter
1/2 lb. cottage cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 beaten egg white
Preparation

Mix the butter, cheese and salt in mixer until creamy.
Mix in flour and blend thoroughly.
Make 14 balls from this mix.
Wrap in waxed paper and refrigerate overnight.
Make the filling of the nuts, sugar and cinnamon and add the beaten white of an egg.
The next day, roll each ball into a 6-inch circle.
Cut each circle into 6 pie shaped wedges.
Place 1/2 teaspoon of filling on each section and roll, beginning at the wide end.
Form into crescents and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until lightly browned, about 7 or 8 minutes.
