Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/16 tsp. ground pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning, crushed
    2 Tbsp. red wine
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, heat oil until hot.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Add crushed tomatoes, salt, Italian seasoning and black pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add wine.
    Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
    Serve over freshly cooked pasta.
    Yield: About 4 cups.
