Celery Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. (1-inch thick) celery pieces
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1/4 c. pimientos, diced
    1/2 c. fresh bread crumbs
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Cook celery in a small amount of boiling salted water, about 8 minutes. Drain. Combine celery, soup and pimiento; spoon into a lightly greased 1-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs and almonds over celery mixture.
    Drizzle margarine over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 6 servings.
