Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    rice (read directions on box)
    bell peppers (red and yellow)
    1 1/2 lb. ground meat
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder or salt
    peppers
Preparation
    Cut small portion off tops of peppers.
    Drop in boiling water; cook for 5 minutes.
    Discard stems and seeds.
    Take leftover parts of tops and dice.
    Cook in hot oil with diced onion.
    Cook until softened.
    Add ground meat and cook until browned.
    Cook rice according to directions.
    Add to meat mixture.
    Add spices and tomatoes plus tomato sauce.
    Mix well.
    Place well drained peppers in baking dish.
    Stuff with tomato and meat mixture.
    Place extra over and around peppers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
