Arthur'S Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large cans pineapple chunks, drained, reserving juice
    2 small pkg. (not instant) vanilla pudding
    1 large can mandarin oranges, drained
    1 large jar cherries, drained
    4 small bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Mix pineapple juice and pudding.
    Cook over medium heat until clear and thick.
    Cool.
    Mix fruits.
    Pour pudding mixture over fruit and mix well.
    Chill.
