Almond Caramel Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped almonds
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. light cream
8 to 12 apples
Preparation

Combine sugar, syrup, butter and cream.
Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Boil over moderate heat to very firm ball stage (250\u00b0), stirring occasionally to prevent scorching. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Insert skewer into each apple and dip into syrup.
Roll in chopped almonds (roasted). Makes 8 to 12 apples, depending on size.
