Double Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    cherry cake mix (Duncan Hines cherry supreme), mixed as directed and cooled 25 minutes
    1 small box cherry Jell-O
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cool water
Preparation
    Let Jell-O, boiling water and cool water set at room temperature.
    Punch holes 1/2-inch apart and pour liquid over cake.
    Refrigerate while making icing.
