Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 lb. raisins, boiled with 2 c. water for 10 to 15 minutes and cooled
    1 c. wine or cold water
    1 lb. mixed candied fruit
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    4 to 5 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugars.
    Add raisins, wine, fruit and nuts.
    Sift and add dry ingredients.
    Pour into bread pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
