Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cooked squash
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cornbread stuffing
Preparation
    Cook squash, onion, salt and pepper until tender.
    Drain off excess water; add margarine.
    Place in casserole dish:
    1 layer of squash, 1 layer of stuffing and 1 layer of cheese.
    Repeat layers. Top with remaining cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
